I am doing PHD in Germany. Basically I am a Non-EU, but I am getting salary of TVÖD 13/2. As I am dealing with data analysis and doing PHD in Bioinformatics. So is it possible that along with my PHD I can open a data analysis/Bioinformatical data management and analysis company in Germany? Can I be able to update my residence permit status for starting such a company? Is there any minimum requirements?
In general, any entrepreneur who wishes to start a business in Germany may do so, irrespective of nationality or place of residence. In an individual meeting, the IHK will be able to advise you on the required licenses, visa regulations, and so-called welcome packages that are available in the area.
