We are an independent research group, and we have several patentable electrical energy management technologies. We hope to initiate a GmbH in Germany to develop our technologies to prototypes with some basic research and also to bring the products later to the market in Germany, as there is a real interest on energy management in Germany. Before contacting Euronorm GmbH regarding Innokom Ost and other monetary and non monetary assistance programs, we would like to ask you - as non residents/non citizens - will we meet the general requirements for any assistance for our future GmbH or non profit institution?

Please let us briefly introduce our organization and services to you: Germany Trade & Invest is the foreign trade and inward investment agency of the Federal Republic of Germany. In general, any entrepreneur who wishes to start a business in Germany may do so, irrespective of nationality or place of residence. There is no specific investment legislation in Germany, nor is there a minimum percentage of German shareholdings required for foreign investments within Germany. Non-EU citizens will just have to make sure to have the appropriate type of visa. Depending on the intended business activities in Germany, different types of visas are relevant to entrepreneurs.
